MHS Students Selected for All-State Chorus & Orchestra

The two MHS mixed quartets selected to join nearly 1000 voices and a full symphony orchestra in concert on April 19-20 in Sioux Falls will not be attending.  

The South Dakota High School Athletic Association COVID Task Force, the South Dakota High School Athletic Association Board of Directors, and an advisory committee decided the risk was too high for the vocal participants and their families. 

Despite that cancelation, the full symphony orchestra will rehearse and perform in concert. The concert will be presented on April 20 at the Denny Sanford Premier Center. 

Joe Schulte, first violin; Rachel Schulte, first violin; Nicholas Fonder, second violin; and Merik Junker, mallets will represent Milbank in the all-state orchestra.

The Milbank singers will be featured at the MHS spring band and choir concert on May 11.
