Folk Awarded Scholarship to Attend Chamber Conference

Laurie Folk, director of the Milbank Area Chamber of Commerce, was one of six winners chosen by Mid-America Chamber Executives (MACE) for a 2021 Annual Conference Scholarship.  MACE consists of chamber professionals in the six-state area of Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.

The honor entitles the recipient to attend the 2021 annual conference free of charge. It will also include recognition before, during, and after the event. Each state in the MACE region was eligible to nominate an unlimited number of deserving recipients, but only one individual from each state received the award.

According to Folk, it is an honor to be a part of this conference, and I believe it will have great value for me and the Milbank Chamber. I look forward to meeting fellow chamber directors and expanding my knowledge of the chamber industry.”
