Agricultural producers in Grant County must submit crop acreage reports to the USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA) by the July 15 deadline. Producers need to file an accurate crop acreage report by the applicable deadline to be eligible for most USDA programs.

The Grant County FSA office is providing maps to producers along with instructions via mail, email, or in person.  After completed maps and all acreage reporting information is received, FSA will make the software updates and send producers the completed Report of Acreage form (FSA-578) to sign. Producers must return the signed form certifying their acreage report to the FSA office by July 15. Producers can electronically sign the FSA-578 through secure online tools.

USDA Service Centers are open for business by phone appointment. Program delivery staff continue to come into the office, but are working with producers by phone, email, and online tools. All Service Center visitors wishing to conduct business with the FSA, Natural Resources Conservation Service, or any other service center agency are required to call their service center to schedule an appointment. More information can be found at farmers.gov/coronavirus.
