Laurie Folk, director of the Milbank Area Chamber, announced today that fireworks will light up the night on Friday, July 30, during 2021 Farley Fest.
The fireworks are set to go off at Lake Farley Park at dusk or about 9:30 – 9:45. Everyone is welcome at the free event. Bring your lawn chair or a blanket.
Come early and double your fun or grab dinner on the fly. Feast on bbq, burgers, ice cream, kettle corn, cotton candy, and more. The beer garden will be open from 4-11.
The other vendors will be open from 4 -10 p.m., and Folk says she is getting closer to her goal of 80 — an increase from years past. There’s a surprise around every corner. Check out your favorites with nail polish or metal works everything from a psychic to handmade, homemade, and refurbished items.
Take in the car show or enter your classic ride. Registration is at 5 p.m. and judging starts at 6. Don’t forget to get your team together for the annual corn hole tournament. Registration is at 5:30 p.m. and the tourney starts at 6. Of course, you’ll want to stick around for the fireworks at dusk. And then…get ready for another jam-packed day of fun on Saturday.
