Anderson Underground, ITC’s contractor for the fiber expansion project in rural Grant County, has started plowing fiber in the northern part of the county. The construction crews are installing the mainline fiber-optics in preparation for the next crew that brings the fiber-optics up to each location.

According to Ren Preheim, ITC Network Operations Manager, the expansion in rural Grant County is on schedule. Preheim says, “We have worked with Anderson Underground on previous fiber-optic construction projects, and they continually provide the highest quality in the industry.”

ITC Technicians are meeting with landowners who have completed an application to place the fiber-optic enclosure on the side of their house and review the plan for the fiber route. Landowners will be alerted that crews will soon be arriving when location markings are placed on their property.

According to ITC, their new fiber-optic offers residents and businesses a reliable, unlimited, Fiber-Fast Internet connection. The option for local phone and TV service is also available.
