Dave Graf, principal at Milbank Elementary, high-fived groups of students today as they entered the school building on their first day of the 2021-2022 year. Milbank students were released at 2 p.m. because of a teacher in service.
This year, 993 students have enrolled in the Milbank School District. That number includes the Blue Sky Colony students and 54 new students. The district also welcomes 18 new staff members. All students are eligible for free breakfast and lunch this year. Masks are recommended, but not required.
