MHS Reader’s Theater Team Takes 4th at Karl Mundt Tourney

The Bulldogs’ oral interp team competed in the Dakota Invitational Karl E Mundt Tournament at Dakota State University on October 23. According to Milbank’s coach Natasha Karels, the Readers Theater team, consisting of Hailey Hupke, Jacob Shelstad, Ivy Lewno, and Brooke Schwagel, made it to the finals and finished in fourth place. Lydia Street also made it to honor finals where she placed third. She finished in ninth place overall.  

Other entries included: Brooke Schwagel and Veronica Fonder in Drama; Danielle Kennedy, Gemma Street, and Cooper Hupke in Humor; Camila Monroy and Rylen Frerichs in Duo; Ivy Lewno in Non-Original Oratory; and Hailey Hupke in Storytelling. 
Next up for the Bulldogs? They travel today, October 25, to compete in Brookings.
