The 72nd Northern State University (NSU) Band Clinic was held on Wednesday, November 3, in Aberdeen.  Conductors were Dr. Rolf Olson of NSU and Mr. James McKinney, an interim percussion instructor at NSU.
MHS was represented by 18 musicians:

Seniors-Jacquie Wold (clarinet), Natalie Meyer (tenor saxophone), Isaac Sousa (trumpet), William Karels (tuba), and Jack Sandvig (percussion). Juniors-Ciara Finley (clarinet), Ellie Neugebauer (clarinet), Luis Berrones (bass clarinet), Tice Mursu (bass clarinet), Elsie Seffrood (alto sax), Carter Phinney (trumpet), Keara VanHoorn (trombone), Ian Liebe (baritone TC), and Kylene Bowen (percussion). Sophomores-Sunne DeBoer (tenor sax), Ivy Lewno (french horn), and Avery VanOverbeke (percussion). Freshman-Veronica Fonder (flute). Susan Karels, band instructor for grades six through twelve in the Milbank School District, accompanied the students to the event.
