Ron Krause Selected for True Friends of Education Award

Ron Krause of Milbank was presented with the True Friends of Education Award at the Milbank School District Board of Education meeting on Monday, November 8.

The Milbank Education Association (MEA) sponsors the award anually in honor of American Education Week, which this year is November 15-19. According to Josh Schmeichel, MEA president, Krause has been the coach for the wrestling booster club, booster club president, and has been involved with coaching youth baseball for many years. 

“He has touched the lives of many young men that have grown up in Milbank,” Schmeichel said. “I happen to be one of the youth that Krause has had an influence on. So, I really appreciated being able to present this award to him.”
