Korbin Leddy of Stockholm has been awarded a $1,000 agribusiness entrepreneurship SAE grant by Barn2Door. Barn2Door is a Seattle-based software company that designs a vertical SaaS solution for farmers who sell direct. This year, 32 sponsors offered 39 types of SAE grants.
An SAE grant helps the FFA member to create or expand a Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) project. An SAE project is a requirement of FFA membership and involves starting and operating an agriculture-related business, working at an agriculture-related business, or conducting an agricultural research experience. The FFA member must also submit a comprehensive report regarding the career development experience.

Leddy is a member of the Milbank FFA Chapter. His application was selected from 1,086 FFA members’ applications from across the nation.

The National FFA Organization oversees more than 735,000 student members from 8,817 local FFA chapters in all 50 states, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
