Lori Leddy and Keri Schliesman Resign from Milbank School District

Lori Leddy and Keri Schliesman’s resignations were accepted during the regular meeting Monday, February 14, by the Milbank Board of Education.

At the conclusion of the school year in May Leddy, a middle school math teacher, will pursue other career opportunities within the community.
Leddy said, “I truly enjoyed my time teaching at Milbank Middle School and teaching has been a joy and passion of mine over the past 24 years.

Schliesman is the elementary special education director and will be retiring at the end of the 2021-2022 school year. Schliesman has been with the district for 10 years. She said, “I have been so fortunate to be a part of this district both as a teacher and administrator.

The board thanked both for their years of dedication to the Milbank school district.
