Youth wrestlers attended the 2022 SDWCA Region 4 Tournament in Britton on Saturday, March 12. Milbank Coach Josh Schmeichel said, “The top three in each weight class, except the Midget division, advance to the state tournament. This year, the top four Midgets in each weight class punched their tickets to State.” 

At 37 pounds, Landon Krause will be the lightest wrestler attending from Milbank. He competes in the Tots division. In the Cadet division, Owen Fischer, Jacob Giles, Joseph French, Tate Schlueter, Jesse Schneck, and Oliver Korth are all hoping to bring home a win. 

The 2022 SDWCA State Tournament will be held March 25-27 at the Denny Sanford Premier Center in Sioux Falls. Cadets wrestle on Friday, March 25. All other wrestlers compete on Saturday and Sunday.
