Nearly 50 Milbank students attended the Northern State University Math Contest in Aberdeen on April 20. The contest consisted of four divisions: Elementary Algebra, Geometry, Advanced Algebra, and Senior Math. MHS won the traveling team trophy.
Individually, Isaac Sousa took second place in the Senior Division and Amelia Pederson placed fifth in the Elementary Algebra Division.
Honorable mention awards went to: Cole Brown, Wylie Mursu, Sammy Femling, Aidan Foell, Max Lightfield, Zach Ringsaker, Hallie Schulte, Veronica Fonder, Joe French, Qualon Grant, and Ty Kettwig.
