Chelsea Saxton, an MHS graduate and general manager of the GrandStay in Milbank, was named 2022 General Manager of the Year from GrandStay Hospitality. She received the award during the company’s brand conference held April 20-21 at the Running Aces Casino, Hotel, and Racetrack in Columbus, Minnesota.
President of GrandStay Hospitality, Jon Kennedy, said, “Chelsea Saxton received this recognition in light of the hotel’s top review scores, the highest net performer score of 87 during 2021, and also for her leadership, community involvement, and impeccable feedback from hotel ownership.”
Under Saxton’s direction, the GrandStay in Milbank also received the brand’s 2021 Every Guest — Every Time Customer Service Award. The award recognizes hotels with an average of 4.5 stars and higher for the entire year.
Mark Leddy, from 15 Hotel Group, the group that owns the hotel in Milbank, says, “We feel very fortunate that our management company, Blue Sky Hospitality, was able to find someone as capable as Chelsea to manage our property in Milbank.
