If you see a new face at the Grant County Courthouse, it is Tammy Snell. Monday, July 25, was Snell’s first day in her position as the second deputy to Grant County Treasurer Karla DeVaal.
According to Snell, her computer and people skills helped her to land the job, which involves helping Grant County residents with license tags, title transfers, and property taxes. She says she honed her skills working at United Hardware for 20 years and as the manager of the dairy department at Berens Market for over four years.
Tammy’s husband, Marlin is employed at Unzen Motors in Milbank. The couple has one daughter, Peyton, 11.
