MHS choir director, Miriam Schwenn, announced two mixed quartets from Milbank High School have been selected to join nearly 1000 voices and a full symphony orchestra in the 70th Annual South Dakota All-State Chorus and Orchestra. The musicians will rehearse and perform at the Denny Sanford Premier Center of Sioux Falls. The Grand Concert will be presented on Saturday, October 29, at 7 p.m. The concert will also be broadcast live on South Dakota Public Television.
The musicians are under the direction of Sara Catt of Elmhurst University of Elmhurst, Illinois, and Dr. Alexander Fokkens of Alabama School of Fine Arts in Birmingham, Alabama.
