Milbank Bowlers Bring Home 12 Medals From Special Olympics State Tourney

Over 500 athletes competed in the Special Olympics State Bowling Tournament on November 4-5 in Aberdeen. The tournament was the first state tournament in two years due to Covid restrictions.
Milbank’s team of 12 athletes competed on Friday, November 4. According to head coach Abby Trapp, “The Bulldogs dominated the competition. Many of them brought home gold and silver medals.”
Trapp says, “The team has been practicing since September, so it was so exciting to see how their hard work has paid off.” Trapp thanked Top Hat Lanes in Milbank for allowing them to practice during the last nine weeks prior to the state tournament.
