The Valley Express sponsored an evening of glitz and glamour Saturday night at the annual Milbank Snow Queen Festival. Cassidy Schwagel was crowned the new 2023 Miss Milbank. She is the daughter of John and Hilary Schwagel. Cassidy was sponsored by Homestead Animal Health, Victory Farms, and Justin’s Welding and Repair. Tenley Wildung, 2022 Miss Milbank, crowned her successor.
Jenna Dexter was named first runner-up and wins a $250 scholarship. Ashlyn O’Farrrell was second runner-up and wins a $150 scholarship.
Twnety nine kindergarten girls also vied for the title of Little Miss Milbank. Tenley Adelman, the daughter of Tyler and Alicia Adelman, is the 2023 winner.
While the judges deliberated, Joelie Hicks was revealed as the Mystery Snowman.
