MHS End-of-Year Wrestling Awards Presented

The MHS wrestling team celebrated the end of their successful 2022-2023 season with an awards banquet. Barrett Schneck won the MVP award and Owen Fischer earned the Pinners award. Fischer was also named Most Improved.

Evan Folk and Reese Rabe were named the Rookies of the Year. Jesse Schneck was selected for the Justin Maass Spirit Award.

Senior Awards went to: Hallie Schulte, Brayden Christensen, B. Schneck, Paul Van Dover, Dillen Sheeley, and Tony St. Martin.

Schulte, who served as the team’s manager, and B. Schneck were also recognized for achieving Academic All-State status. To be eligible for All-State honors, the athlete must be a senior who has participated in the sport for three or more years while earning a grade point average of 3.5 or better.
