Kevin Schuelke, head of Grant County Emergency Management and former Milbank Fire Chief, said,” Firefighters from Milbank, Big Stone, and Summit, and Grant County Local Emergency Planning Committee members attended the 2023 State Fire School from June 15-17.
The South Dakota Firefighters Association, along with Lake Area Tech and Watertown Fire and Rescue, hosted the educational event..”These schools bring nationally-known high-level training and information to share so we can keep up with our ever-changing world,” Schuelke explained. “Team members attend to gain additional response knowledge and sharpen their firefighting skills.”
