The Milbank Fire Department was dispatched to Twin Brooks on Friday July 14, at 10:15 a.m. According to Milbank Fire Chief David Giesen, “Upon arrival firefighters found a garbage truck with its right rear tires on fire.” Giesen said, “The team quickly extinguished the flames and checked for hot spots inside the container of the truck owned by Waste Management. Damage was confined to the tires and a couple of hydraulic lines.” The Grant County Sheriff’s Office also assisted.
