Brian Sandvig Honored for Leading South Dakota Chamber and Industry Board

Brian Sandvig was recognized for his leadership role on the board of directors of the South Dakota Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Sandvig was presented with a plaque at the group’s annual reorganization meeting on Tuesday, October 24 in Sioux Falls. Sandvig, CFO of Valley Queen Cheese in Milbank, served as board chair for the past two years.

Dave Rozenboom, president of First Premier Bank in Sioux Falls, hosted the meeting and commended Sandvig on his commitment to advancing the goals of the South Dakota Chamber of Commerce and Industry.  South Dakota Chamber board members are responsible for establishing the organization’s legislative policy, establishing membership programs and aiding in the development of the membership base. 

Sheila Anderson, treasurer and CFO of Daktronics in Brookings, will assume Sandvig’s position as chair. She will serve for two years.
