Milbank Fire and Rescue Responds to Blaze at Moser Farm

Assistant Fire Chief Justin Mathiason reported that the Milbank Fire and Rescue Department responded to a call of a shed on fire at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 17. The fire was in progress at the Cal Moser residence at 15038 481st Avenue.

Mathisason said, “The shed also contained a vehicle and a couple of motorcycles and firefighters used about 5,000 gallons of water to extinguish it.” The Milbank team was assisted with water from the Big Stone team. “We were able to save all the nearby buildings from any damage,” Mathiason added. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
