Lance Junso Named President at First Interstate Bank in Milbank

Lance Junso has been promoted to president of the Milbank branch of First Interstate Bank. In this position, Junso will lead employees in achieving the bank’s goals and executing on its mission, vision, and values. He will also serve in a commercial lending role.

Junso, a MIlbank native, has 12 years of experience in the banking industry with proficiency in mortgage and business lending. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of South Dakota and an MBA from the University of Sioux Falls. He joined First Interstate in 2023 as a commercial relationship manager.

“I work alongside a tremendously talented team that has the expertise, drive, and passion to serve the financial needs of those in Milbank and the surrounding communities,” Junso said. “I look forward to watching the Milbank community continue to thrive. If the First Interstate Bank team and I can be a small part of that progress, we’ve done our job. It’s good to be home.”

Junso’s wife, Kendra (née Snaza), is a special education teacher at Milbank Middle School. They are proud parents of a two-year-old daughter and look forward to welcoming their second child in April.
