Baccalaureate Begins Graduation Week on Sunday, May 5

The 2024 Milbank High School graduation ceremonies begin this weekend with Baccalaureate on Sunday, May 5. The service, presided over by the Milbank Ministerial Association, begins at 6 p.m. in the MHS Theater. Music will be performed by the MHS instrumental and vocal departments under the direction of Mrs. Susan Karels and Mrs. Miriam Schwenn.

2024 MHS Graduation is set for Sunday, May 12. The commencement ceremony begins at 2 p.m. in the Milbank Armory. Superintendent Justin Downes will lead the event. Principal Dan Snaza will present the Class of 2024. The music will also be performed by the instrumental and vocal students under the direction of Karels and Schwenn.

The MHS Class of 2024 chose the cactus as their class flower and maroon and gold as their class colors. Their motto comes from Taylor Swift: “We’re happy, free, confused, and lonely at the same time.”
