Eleven band students represented Milbank Middle School at the Eastern Dakota Junior High Music Festival on October 15 in Arlington.

Seventh Graders — Keira Untalan (clarinet), Alanna Vogel (bass clarinet), and Matthew Unzen (baritone).
Eighth  Graders –  Jada Leigh Wellnitz (flute), Bella Hicks (flute), Kinley VanHoorn (clarinet), Bridget Regil (clarinet), Kylynn Schwandt (alto sax), Paisley Ericsson (trumpet), Charlotte Swanson (trumpet), and Harper Wendland (percussion).

The culminating concert was held that evening in the Arlington gymnasium. The public was invited and many parents and friends were able to attend. Ron Stary, retired band director from Brookings, was the guest conductor.  Milbank students were accompanied to the event by Susan Karels, the band director for Milbank Middle School and Milbank High School.
