The Millstone Family Restaurant was voted the winner of the Soup Walk held during the Hometown Christmas celebration on Saturday, December 7. Deb Bowsher, owner of The Millstone, was awarded  $200 in Ol’ Mill Bucks. 

Santa and Mrs. Claus arrived downtown on a vintage fire truck. Miss Milbank 2025, Jericho Jones and Little Miss Milbank 2025, Hawley Kirchberg, assisted the couple from the North Pole.during photos and visits with Santa.

Santa also flipped the switch to light the community Christmas tree during the Tree-Lighting ceremony in the Music Park. 

The Grant County 4-H was chosen the winner of the Standstill Lighted Parade. They received $200 in Ol’ Mill Bucks. Earlier in the day, over 30 vendors made for a bustling Craft & Vendor Fair. Downtown businesses also offered shoppers treats and deals.

Hometown Christmas is sponsored by the Milbank Area Chamber of Commerce (MACC) and its members.
