Milbank High School will send 30 students, including seven teams, to the 2025 South Dakota State FFA Convention. The event is scheduled for April 3-5 in Brookings.

District 1 FFA competitions held on March 25 in Milbank determined the qualifiers.  

FFA chapters in District 1 include Aberdeen Central, Clark, Deuel, Doland, Florence, Groton, Langford, Leola, Milbank, Sisseton, Watertown Area (NETHS), Waubay, Webster, and Wilmot.  

Sara Colombe, agriculture instructor for Milbank, is the adviser for District 1. Raul Berrones Pedraza, a 2024 graduate of MHS, who is now a student at SDSU, is serving as South Dakota’s 2024-25 State FFA Vice President.
