

Max Schuelke, a senior at Milbank High School, has been chosen as the March Student of the Month. Max is the son of Russ and Robin Schuelke.
Max takes part in Educators Rising, HOSA – Future Health Professionals, student council, debate, and theater. He serves as a Sunday school teacher at his church and is employed by the After School Time (OST) program.
Max has also earned numerous honors during his high school career. Today, April 10, he was notified that he has been selected as the 2025 Debate Student of the Year for the Northern Region of South Dakota.

When asked about his favorite class, he said he likes art best. “I enjoy the creative freedom,” he stated. Max plans to attend Northern State University to major in elementary education.
