Layten Osowski Named MHS December Student of The Month

Senior Layten Osowski has been chosen as the MHS Student of the Month for December. He is the son of Jason and Jennifer Osowski.

Layten is a member of the Bulldogs basketball team. He also played on the football team and was named to the list of 2025 South Dakota All-State Football Teams. He has served on the student council and  is a member of the National Honor Society. He also was selected as the 2025 Homecoming King. 

Layten works for Schmidt Spray Foam. and he says his favorite classes at MHS are Career and Technical  Education (CTE) classes because he is learning real-world skills. “Currently, I am taking welding and the theory of electric vehicles.” After graduation, Layten plans to attend North Dakota State College of Science (NDSCS) in Wahpeton and enroll in the HVAC program.
