
The Milbank High School Education Foundation (MHSEF) held its annual banquet and awards ceremony at the American Lutheran Church on May 7. The foundation announced the scholarship recipients selected from the MHS Class of 2026. Soon-to-be graduates received scholarship awards totaling $252,050 shared by 28 students.
Presenters explained the genesis of each scholarship and offered a tribute to its founder(s). Attendee Millie Ransom, who is 100 years old, represented the Nelson and Mildred Ransom Scholarship.
