Seffrood Elected to Associated School Boards of South Dakota

Milbank School Board member Annelies Seffrood has been elected to the board of directors of the Associated School Boards of South Dakota (ASBSD). She will represent the Northeast Region of the ASBSD in the 700-1,399 enrollment category. Seffrood was appointed to the board of the private,nonprofit organization last fall before being elected to a four-year term that began in August. 

“We are excited to have Annelies continue her service on the ASBSD Board,” ASBSD Executive Director Heath Larson said. “We have enjoyed working with her this past year and greatly appreciate the input and leadership in our purpose of enhancing public education in South Dakota.”

ASBSD has 18 board members from the 850 South Dakota school board members in the 147 school districts in the state. Delegation is also divided by the geographic regions of Central, Northeast, Southeast, and Western and the enrollment-based categories of 265 Students and Under, 266-699, 700-1,399, 1,400-9,999, and 10,000 and Above.
