The Milbank Area Chamber of Commerce announced Casey Donahew will headline their annual Country Concert this July during Farley Fest 2021. The opening act will feature Allie Colleen, daughter of country legend Garth Brooks. All tickets are $25 and available now at  https://www.farleyfest.com/

Casey Donahew has gone from being a favorite on the local Texas music scene to racking up 21 Number One singles to touring the nation and selling out in big city and small town venues across the country. His publicist says, “Drawing from real life and its roller coaster highs and lows has provided Casey with plenty of rich material over the last decade and a half, and resulted in eight wildly successful albums and 19 chart-topping singles. For Donahew, who was largely inspired by Garth Brooks and his ability to whip a crowd into a frenzy, the songs were always the main thing. And, they still are.

Allie Colleen is no stranger to the music world either. She’s following in some big cowboy boot footsteps, but forging her own path. According to her website, “Her impeccably strong voice with hints of timeless tradition falls between classic country and the emerging country sound. The room never fails to silence as Allie Colleen begins to sing about the layers of love and heartbreak that have shaped her. Some of her newest songs bring witty lyrics and a connection to the song unlike anyone today.”

Along with foot-stomping concert of the season, Farley Fest 2021 is shaping up to be the best weekend of the summer. Laurie Folk says her goal is to increase the number of vendors this year to 80. Look for everything from soaps and nail polish to handmade and refurbished items. Great food is always available. Try BBQ, burgers, ice cream, kettle corn, cotton candy, and more.

Sign your team up for the annual Cornhole tournament, enjoy free music in the park by Neon Gypsy, and take in the Cool Productions dog show, the Farley Fest Parade, and the Veterans monster truck ride. Some of the proceeds from the 10,000 pound monster truck rides go to fund veteran programs.
Last year was the summer that never happened. This summer get ready for some fun. Save the date! Don’t miss Farley Fest 2021 this July 30 and 31.
