Veterans and everyone who wants to join in honoring all those who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces in wartime and in peacetime are welcome to attend the annual Veterans Day Program at the MIlbank Armory on Tuesday, November 11. The event begins at 11 a.m.
Major Brandon Frerichs is slated to deliver the keynote address. The Milbank band and choir will present musical arrangements. Taps will be played by MHS senior trumpeters Ashlynn Batchelor, Jonathan DeBoer, Anna Neugebauer, Camryn Sovell, and Marnie VanLith.
Organizations also contributing to the program include the American Legion Post 9 ColorGuard, VFW Post 3486 Color Guard, VFW Auxiliary Color Guard, Sons of the American Legion, Disabled American Veterans Chapter 19, Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 1054, Legion Auxiliary President and Color Guard, and the National Guard 740th Transportation Company Color Guard.
