USDA’s Farm Service Agency is now accepting nominations from Farmers and Ranchers who want to serve on local FSA county committees. You can nominate yourself or a candidate of your choice, now through August 3. Farm organizations may also submit nominations. Serving on an FSA county committee is your chance to impact federal farm program delivery within your local agricultural community.
Almost anyone of legal voting age who participates or cooperates in FSA programs can be nominated. To be considered, a producer must sign an FSA-669A nomination form. This form and other information about FSA county committee elections are available at fsa.usda.gov/coc. You can also request a nomination form from your local office.
Forms must be postmarked or delivered to the county office by the August 3 deadline. Voting will take place this fall.
