Voters Head to Polls in Grant County

Today, Tuesday, November 8, is election day throughout the United States. Polls opened at 7 a.m. this morning and remain open until 7 p.m. this evening.

For Milbank residents, voting will take place in the community room at the Milbank Visitor Center.

Following are the additional polling locations throughout Grant County:

Adams Township (towns of Albee and Revillo), Vernon Township – Revillo Community Center

Alban Township – Milbank Airport

Big Stone City and Township – Big Stone City Office

Blooming Valley, Farmington and Lura Townships – New Township Hall, Summit

Georgia Township, Town of LaBolt and Madison Township – LaBolt Mini Mall

Grant Center Township – Whetstone Valley Electric meeting room

Melrose Township – Otter Tail Building

Mazeppa-Osceola Township, Town of Marvin – Marvin Hall

Stockholm Town and Township – Community Center, Stockholm

Troy Township, Town of Strandburg – Rufer’s General Store

Twin Brooks Town and Township, Kilborn Township – Twin Brooks Community Center

Identification is a requirement to vote. Voters must present some type of government issued ID such as a South Dakota driver’s license, a state issued non-driver’s license ID, tribal ID, passport, regents university photo ID or high school photo ID. Anyone without an acceptable form of identification must sign a personal identification affidavit.
